The first issue of 2023 is now available to read online here and features show previews for the upcoming Spielwarenmesse and Spring Fair events.

As we head into the new year, Progressive Party has been chatting to some key execs in the industry to find out how 2022 played out for them, and what their hopes and expectations are for the coming 12 months.

A new year means one thing in the world of party – trade shows. The industry is readying a raft of new lines to show when Spielwarenmesse opens its doors after a two-year absence, while others are preparing to meet the trade at Birmingham’s Spring Fair.

World Book Day is just around the corner, and being the first one since Covid hit, which will be celebrated restriction-free, there’s plenty from the costume sector to ensure kids and teachers are dressed as their favourite literary characters.

Ed Avis is looking back and looking forward, while Club Green’s head of operations, Ross Feeney, joins us for the executive profile.
