Amscan to reopen for business next week

Party and costume supplier Amscan International has announced that it is reopening for business following a temporary closure due to coronavirus restrictions, and will be ready to take and ship customer orders from Monday 4 May, 2020.

The announcement, which was made earlier this week, explained that the company has trialled a skeleton team working on a reduced service, from Monday to Thursday. It will be ensuring it is following the guidelines set by the government and W.H.O. and is providing a safe working environment with the correct PPE equipment for all employees.

Following this trial, Amscan has decided to reopen from Monday, although this will continue to be on a reduced service, meaning that the company unfortunately cannot commit to its usual service agreements.

“We would like to thank you for your continued support and patience during these past weeks, whilst we have all been following the government guidelines and staying safe,” the statement read. “…we can now communicate with you, our customers, that from Monday 4th May, we are able to accommodate shipping your orders.”

It continued: “It is really important to us that we can support our customers during this time, so we are continually monitoring and assessing the situation, planning for the latest changes and developments.”

The customer service team – which will be operating with a small team, from Monday to Thursday – can be contacted directly at the email addresses below.
