BAPIA addresses membership concerns

As businesses begin to respond to the most recent update regarding the Covid-19 outbreak, BAPIA is ensuring that it has addressed its members’ concerns regarding payments, insurance and membership costs.

The message came from chairman John Bowler, who told PartyWorldwide.net that: “We wanted to truly support our members and we felt the best way to do this was to take away some of the financial strain that will undoubtedly occur.”

“We are committed to supporting our members,” he continued, “and we are determined to be here for them when the country returns to better times and we can get back to the business of balloons and party.”

John added: “Last night’s statement from the prime minster stating that we should only go out when it is essential has effectively stopped many industries for a while, including our own. I hope that the sooner we can beat this pandemic, the sooner we can all get back to business.”

The official message explained that the association will continue to offer BAPIA membership benefits and will continue to work through this crisis and help in any way possible.

It went on to offer members three options for the coming months (April and May); to retain all insurance benefits at no cost, to waive insurance benefits but keep other membership benefits at no cost or to continue to pay membership fees.

The situation will be reviewed at the end of May. Please contact info@bapiaonline.com for more information.
