“We are passionate about Halloween,” says ceo of Spirit Halloween

Following on from the recent news that seasonal retailer Spirit Halloween will be opening 1,400 pop-up stores across the US this year, preparations are underway to ensure that fans can still have ‘the Halloween they deserve!’

The team at Spirit Halloween, America’s largest specialty Halloween retailer, has spent months preparing to safely open more than 1,400 locations for this year’s event. The pop-up stores will start to open this month, carrying the hottest trends and classic fan favourites.

“We are passionate about Halloween and are fully committed to returning with a full fleet of stores because our guests share our passion,” said Steven Silverstein, Spirit Halloween ceo. “Halloween restores hopefulness and provides an outlet for escape. Yes, the world has changed, but there are so many ways to participate and enjoy Halloween. We personally have seen an outpouring of enthusiasm and positive support for our determination to fully open our stores, and we agree, we all need Halloween now more than ever!”

Store safety has been made a priority over recent weeks, with heightened health and safety protocols ensuring Spirit Halloween offers the top-level, interactive shopping experience it is best-known for.

The in-store safety measures include: protective face coverings, capacity limits, social distancing markers, hand sanitiser stations at the entry of all stores, plastic shields around all registers, increased disinfecting of high-touch surface areas and employee screenings. Employees will also have in-depth training on hand hygiene and disinfectant protocols.

“Strict standards and protocols are already in place,” said Steven. “However, we will remain agile and alter policies as needed based on CDC guidelines as well as state and local directives. We all need Halloween this year and we will continue to be the premier destination for all things Halloween offering interactive one-stop shopping for everything, including exclusive costumes, décor, animatronics, party goods, and accessories.”

Spirit Halloween has served Halloween enthusiasts across the US for more than 37 years, specialising in costumes, décor and accessories.
