Following hot on the heels of the world’s biggest-ever balloon sculpture is the world’s longest-ever balloon sentence, which was set and veried by the Guinness World Record team in Florida earlier this month.
Party balloon company Decoraciones Globos, based in Venezuela, broke a Guinness World Record by using 7,236 balloons to spell out the phrase: “Success has nothing to do with luck, it is a matter of consistency.”
The record-breaking stunt took place in Florida as the company – which was founded by sisters Genesis and Iravid Nieves – recently opened its first American branch in Miami. The pair decided to celebrate the expasion of their business by breaking a Guinness record for the world’s largest balloon sentence.
The sisters, along with balloon artists Francisco Gonzalez, led the effort to arrange the 7,236 balloons into the 53-letter sentence.
Guinness World Records has since officially verified that the finished creation had indeed formed the largest balloon sentence in the world. Officiator Iravid Nieves said the sentence was appropriate for the record, pointing out that; “This world record is the living example of the phrase!”
