The Party Shop in Derby closes

After almost four decades in business, The Party Shop in Alvaston closed its business last month.

Management made the decision to close following a tough year of trading. A Facebook post told customers: “After almost 40 years on London Road, we have made the decision to close the doors at the end of January.

“It’s been a tough 12 months, which has led to this decision and we would have loved to stay open for many more years.

“We would like to thanks all our customers over the years for your business and continued support, not just the people from Derby, but people all over the UK.”
