In this year’s issue of Progressive Halloween, we chatted to indie costume and party shops about their hopes and expectations for Halloween this year, the trends for 2022, and the challenges this year has bought.

We also found out how the Halloween landscape has been so far for suppliers, what new trends they are seeing and how they hope the event will fare after such a successful year in 2021.

As one of the biggest, if not the biggest, selling periods of the year for indies, we caught up with The Mad Hatter’s David Rose, to find out his plans for the retailer’s Horror Shop, and how he is making the Yeovil based store into a destination for Halloween fans.

All of the latest Halloween products are also included in the issue, as well as the news pages to bring you up to date with what’s happening in the industry as a whole.

And of course, our regular columnist, the NCA’s Ed Davis, is back with his column, talking about how to make your store stand out at Halloween and throughout the rest of the year.

We hope the Halloween season treats you well and we look forward to hearing your feedback in November. In the meantime, do keep us updated with your company news and products on the usual email – katierm@max-publishing.co.uk and robw@max-publishing.co.uk.
