NABAS launches ‘Should have used a NABAS member’ campaign

The Balloon and Party Professionals Association has launched a new campaign to highlight the importance of choosing a NABAS member for their next special occasion or event.  The ‘Should have used a NABAS member’ campaign uses a series of images that depict scenarios and potential mishaps as a result of using a balloon and party supplier without the credentials held by NABAS members.

A statement from the organisation says:

“The campaign serves as a reminder to customers about the importance of knowing your party and balloon supplier, with the NABAS mark of excellence as a concrete indication of quality, experience and insurance. Whilst light hearted in nature, the campaign is a reminder of the more serious message that there can be grave consequences as a result of poor installation, low quality materials and inexperience.  After a year of celebrations curtailed and events put on hold, NABAS urges the public to make the right choice when partnering with a supplier to ensure their party and occasion is memorable for all the right reasons.

“By choosing a NABAS member, customers have additional peace of mind and reassurance, knowing that their supplier is fully insured with gold standard, industry specific cover and also provided with ongoing training, guidance and governance to keep ahead of the curve.

“NABAS membership includes gold-standard, industry specific insurance with Hiscox, who cites incredible and catastrophic incidents including collapsing installations, damaging fleets of brand-new cars and accidents with gases and equipment costing customers choosing uninsured or inadequately covered suppliers vast sums of money and putting health and safety at risk.

“The campaign will be rolled out on social media, with a series of digital assets customisable for members’ use. These assets are available for members to download as part of their membership package and are part of a series of campaigns compiled to bolster the industry during a period of turbulence and change at the hands of the pandemic. By being distributed by NABAS and its many members, the campaign takes a united approach to demonstrating the many benefits to choosing a NABAS member for your next special occasion. These include both safety and quality standards, but most importantly the high insurance cover that delivers additional assurance to consumers.  Members proudly sport the NABAS mark of excellence to showcase their demonstrable calibre and insurance level, with additional membership credentials that further reinforce why people should choose a NABAS member for their next event.”
