Haydock Party Company enjoys wellness weekend

BGT 2021 runner up, Steve Royle entertained the staff and families of Haydock’s Northwest Greetings at the company’s wellness weekend at the The Beech Hill Hotel, Windermere last month.

Now an annual event, the weekend has become an important part of the Northwest Greetings’ calendar. The staff and management were treated to two speakers over the weekend, both experts in mental health awareness.

Wayne Singleton gave a speech on how he overcame challenges in his life, while taking part in a marathon across the Sahara and ex-St Helens player, Phil Veivers, also spoke at the event in his role as an established mental health expert.

Northwest Greetings managing director, Richard Aylett, commented: “My employees are extremely important to me as they are the people who have helped make my business the success it is today, so I feel it is my responsibility to look after their mental health and this weekend gives them all an opportunity to unwind, create a bond and really enjoy themselves.”

Warehouse supervisor, Stevie Mac, added: “It is so refreshing to be appreciated for what we do and to be treated to this amazing weekend away. We are already looking forward to next year and the challenges it will bring and our wellness weekend is something we all really look forward to and use to relax and unwind.”
