BAPIA launches BAPIA.ie

BAPIA, the Balloon And Party Industry Alliance is spreading its wings and is now offering benefits and support to the industry across the Republic of Ireland. 

Currently with over 2,200 members, BAPIA offers a range of significant benefits to support its members, from FREE liability insurance cover, to discounts with wholesalers and discounts on day to day shopping on the high street and online.

From today (Friday 26 April) BAPIA.ie will go live enabling balloon and party businesses in Ireland to join and take advantage of the FREE Public & Products Liability insurance cover which is supplied with membership. 

BAPIA ceo, John Bowler, said: “We have been working hard to get the liability insurance cover in place for our friends in Ireland and after much hard work and negotiation we have managed to agree fantastic cover.

“If somebody joins in Ireland they will get £10 million Public & products Liability cover that is designed for the balloon and party industry along with Employers liability cover, Professional Indemnity cover and Crisis Containment Cover and a range of other benefits.”

The insurance cover is supplied by Hiscox Insurance which is a very large and well established insurer with a good understanding of the events marketplace and they have committed to working with BAPIA for the next few years.

While most members join BAPIA to take advantage of the FREE insurance benefit, they can also benefit from discounts with wholesalers, access to a risk management academy, access to a comprehensive legal documents library, support through two private Facebook groups, competitions, prize draws and more.
