Balloons & Bakes wins local business award

The indie party store was recently recognised in the South Norfolk and Broadland Business Awards.

The retailer, owned by Helen Kerton and Julie Wentworth since October 2021, won the Broadland Retailer of the Year category at the awards.

Balloons & Bakes was described by judges as a ‘one-stop party shop in Old Catton. Offering a genuinely personal service, entering the shop is a truly welcoming experience with customer engagement second to none. Balloons & Bakes have quickly built an enviable reputation.’

Helen told Norwich Evening News: “Our feet haven’t touched the ground since we won, it is quite overwhelming to think that little old us could win something so amazing.”
