First BAPIA FunDay hailed a huge success

Over 100 balloon and party professionals from all over the UK attended the inaugural BAPIA FunDay on 7 June at the Grand Station Venue in Wolverhampton.

The aim of the day was to provide an opportunity to network with industry experts, like-minded professionals, business owners and wholesalers and suppliers, while enjoying demos, business talks and hands-on activities.

The day proved to be a hub of inspiration from interactive demonstrations, to colourful balloon displays, designed and constructed by BAPIA instructors and manufacturers including Amscan, Gemar, Kalisan, Qualatex, Sempertex and Tuftex.

Sherrie from Sophistication 4 Creations, an attendee, commented: “Thank you to everyone who created this magical day and I for one, absolutely loved it and cannot wait for the next FunDay.”

John Bowler, BAPIA, added: “We truly appreciated all the support that we received from all the delegates, our new team of instructors and our member wholesalers, suppliers, and manufacturers at our first FunDay. Everyone working together definitely helped to make the day successful and very special for everyone.”

BAPIA now plans to roll out the FunDays across the UK from September.
