NABAS confirms first international instructor for PIE 2022

Liz Romani will travel from Indiana to join next year’s Party Industry Event in Coventry as an instructor.

By popular demand, Liz will be joining the event to share her tips, experience and insight into finding new opportunities to get creative with balloons to generate revenue. Her background and global success in the party supply industry has seen her grow her balloon business from $9,000 a year to $250,000, while providing training worldwide.

Liz attended the Big Balloon Build in Wales in 2018 and will be the first US host of this year’s Big Balloon Build. Her experience extends to the Balloon Boss Summit, where she has attended for the last three years to share advice and tips on marketing and delivering tutorials.

PIE UK 2022 will take place on the 15 – 17 October 2022, and ticket information will be announced shortly. The event will give industry members the opportunity to enhance portfolios, pick up sales and marketing insight and develop new business relationships. Liz is just one of the instructors that will be joining the big décor event.

The October event will be open to everyone, including non-members, from the largest party suppliers, to new start-ups and sole traders. NABAS is offering a tailored range of event, dining and accommodation packages. Members will receive a discounted package, while non-members are being offered three months free membership to join NABAS’s thriving community.

Chairman, George Oustayiannis, said: “NABAS, The Balloon and Party Professionals Association continues to be the only registered trade association for the balloon and party industry run by members, for members with all profits being ploughed back into the organisation for the benefit of all.

“As a result, our members enjoy the most comprehensive indemnity insurance currently available. But NABAS isn’t just about a great insurance policy. As a non-profit organisation seeking to support our members and indeed our industry, we invest in unbiased independent training and events, including, but not limited to our spectacular three day extravaganza.

“As a champion of best practices and excellence in the industry, NABAS provides unrivalled support and services to its varied and eclectic members. In this, the most challenging period of the association’s 35-year history, NABAS has adjusted, increased and further improved its offering to help balloon and party businesses survive and now focus on thriving once again as business resumes.”
