Fancy dress and accessory company Bristol Novelty saw the funny side when it read one of the five-star customer reviews for its red lobster costume.
Any supplier of comedy costumes hopes that it is successful in making its customers laugh, but the red lobster costume from Bristol Novelty has gone one step further in bringing joy to the masses.
The costume – which comprises a bright red oversized lobster outfit with claw gloves – has been a big hit with the public, garnering a number of overwhelmingly positive, five-star reviews.

“We’re very pleased to hear that our lobster costume has had such an effect on the customer,” said Bristol Novelty’s marketing manager Fran Hales. “However, we do want to point out that wearing the costume does not make it compulsory to forsake your human life and begin living as a lobster full-time.”
