‘Tasteless’ zombie princess outfit removed from sale

A ‘tasteless’ zombie princess outfit has been removed from sale at Party Pieces, the online fancy dress and party retailer owned and operated by Kate Middleton’s parents.

The family business came under attack for the Sleeping Zombie Princess outfit, with some claiming the costume was disrespectful to Princess Diana, who died in a car accident in 1997.

The costume was listed in the children’s Halloween section — among several other zombie outfits, which drew no complaints.

The ‘princess’ variation of the popular zombie dress-up theme — which consisted of a blood-covered gown and tiara — was deemed “sicker than sick” by Simone Simmons, a friend of the late Princess Diana.

“I hope people boycott the site. This is really scraping the barrel. It’s twisted and warped,” Simone continued.

The Middletons have not commented on the costume but the zombie princess outfit has been removed from the Party Pieces website.
