“We absolutely expect to see consumers celebrating this year”

With this year’s Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations likely to look a little different to usual, party and costume suppliers are in a strong position to make the most of consumers’ desire to keep the festive feeling as much as possible.

“We absolutely expect to see consumers celebrating this year,” revealed Jen Wilson, Amscan’s head of marketing and design. “With 2020 not panning out quite as most of us planned, we expect to see consumers really making an effort to bring together the family and friends that are able to be together, in the best way possible.”

With this in mind Amscan has released a whole host of new designs, perfect for setting the scene at home.

“From Festive Friends – our new kid-friendly range – through to more traditional designs such as FaLaLaLaLa, we have something for everyone’s taste to ensure homes are looking suitably festive this year. We have also continued with our ever-successful Nativity costume range, as well as bulk decoration kits, to make everything a little more fun wherever possible!”

A number of New Year items are also available, allowing consumers to welcome 2021 in style. “We are sure that people will want to see in 2021 while also saying farewell to 2020,” said Jen. “Classic metallics can be mixed and matched with room décor, balloon garlands and additional key pieces, which are sure to help set the scene for all of your consumers plans come December 31st!”
