Underground Cinema To Hold Costume Sale

The Australian Underground Cinema team will be holding a secret costume and prop sale on Saturday 3 February 2018, although the location of the sale currently remains a closely guarded secret.

The live immersive film screening event (which is held in undisclosed locations to keep cinema-goers guessing) has built up an impressive portfolio of costumes and props over the years. Guests know nothing more than a theme before arriving and are then guided through an immersive journey into the heart of a well-known film.

Costume buyers can expect to see lots of crazy outfits, props and set design elements which have featured during the last eight years of Underground Cinema and will be able to purchase costumes and props from as low as $5 .

The subversive entertainment company has created more than 30 different cinematic worlds during that time: finds are likely to include everything from a trench coat from Casablanca to a Noh-style mask from Spirited Away, not forgetting any number of era-defining costumes from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

In the spirit of the way Underground Cinema operates, the details of the sale will be announced closer to the time. Watch the Facebook page to find out more.
