Trick Or Treat Studios Launches Kickstarter Campaign

US-based horror mask expert Trick or Treat Studios has launched a Kickstarter project for an officially licensed Chucky ‘Good Guy’ doll, revealing an ongoing interest in the horror character.

The well-known character from the Child’s Play franchise has been one of Trick or Treat Studios’ most popular licences for some time now, with a number of masks and costumes available featuring the famous doll.

The Kickstarter campaign is crowdfunding resources for the officially licensed one-to-one scale Child’s Play 2 Chucky Doll, making it the most screen accurate Child’s Play Product ever produced.

Every detail of this doll is made from the actual screen molds, including the clothing which was replicated using actual swatches.

The replica Chucky Doll was 100% funded in just an hour and 15 minutes. Pledges range from $500 to $700 and so far almost 800 horror fans have pledged £306,904, more than 400% of the original £70,445 goal.

The boost to both Trick or Treat Studios and the Chucky franchise comes as distributors – such as Palmer Agencies – and retailers begin to turn their attentions towards Halloween 2018.
