Trick Or Treat Studios Gets Halloween Licence

US-based Trick or Treat Studios has been named the official costume licensor for the new Halloween movie and will be making the new Michael Myers mask available to the public soon.

Other accessories will also be available, including new coveralls and a replica prop knife.

The new version of the official Michael Myers mask has been created by Oscar and Emmy-winning make-up effects artists Christopher Nelson and Vincent Van Dyke, the newest members of the Trick or Treat design team.

Trick or Treat Studios made the announcement on Facebook and Instagram last week, explaining that it will producing the masks from toolings that come directly out of the screen-used mold.

The Facebook post read; “We are thrilled to announce that Trick or Treat Studios is the official costume licensor for Halloween 2018! You guys and ghouls are going to be blown away! This mask is awesome!”

In response to a comment on the Instagram post, Trick or Treat Studios confirmed that the new Halloween 2018 Michael Myers mask will be available later this year.

Halloween opens in theaters on October 19, 2018.
