Trends revealed for Christmasworld 2019

The world’s leading trade fair for festive and seasonal decoration has revealed the trends and fashions which will be on display at the 2019 show.

Christmasworld 2019, which will be taking place from 25 – 29 January, will see four main styles being embraced, providing the retail trade with an exclusive tool for creating their own selections for the upcoming festive season in 2019/20.

The Christmasworld Trends for 2019/20 have been identified as ‘tender festivities’, ‘essential ceremonies’, ‘sweet traditions’ and ‘luminous celebrations’; highlighting what trend experts are predicting to be the hot properties for Christmas 2019/20.

“The four thematic scenarios of the Christmasworld Trends reflect the important influences of some major designers and their preferences for materials, colours and shapes,” explains designer Annetta Palmisano.

Design expert Stilbüro will be hosting  Trend Talks explaining the four style scenarios during the show, at 11am and 1pm each day.

“The Christmasworld Trends will be held in the centre of our inspirational Hall 11.0, close to the range of products and services on offer from our exhibitors,” adds show director Eva Olbric.

A new hall layout and experiental concepts will also provide maximum inspiration for buyers across a diverse range of target markets. Each hall will be redeveloped and based around a ‘centrepiece’, such as a special exhibition area, a complementary programme of events or a networking hotspot.

The ‘Christmas and Seasonal Decoration’ sector of the show will move into the newly-created Hall 12. This includes spring, Easter, autumn and Halloween decorations. ‘Christmas Delights’ with Christmas confectionery and culinary gifts will form the centrepiece here, along with a Special Show by 2Dezign.

The 2018 event hosted 1,047 exhibitors from 43 countries and was visited by over 43,400 trade buyers from 129 different countries.
