Spring Fair Announces New Venue For The Party Show

Spring Fair, the UK’s leading retail trade show, has announced a new venue for The Party Show, which will be making the move to Hall 5, joining the Children’s Gifts & Toys sector.

Taking place at Birmingham’s NEC from Sunday 3 – Thursday 8 February, the new location of The Party Show has been designed to provide buyers with a smoother shopping experience and the perfect platform to cross-buy and source next season’s best selling merchandise.

The Party sector will see suppliers presenting a plethora of partyware items, including costumes, make-up, fireworks and party accessories.

Highlighting the very latest trends within the party market, the Party Stage will host live demonstrations three times a day throughout the show, giving retailers and party planners the chance to see the assortment of products in action.

Making its Spring Fair debut in 2018, Carnival Toys will present an array of carnival, Halloween, Christmas and party items. Also making its debut this year is Plastico, which produces party cutlery, plastic glasses and tableware across a variety of colours, styles and strengths.

“In the face of a challenging economic and political climate, people simply want to find a way to have fun and celebrate the good times in their lives with loved ones,” says event director Alison Graham. “The party sector at Spring Fair packages that up in an easily shoppable format for retailers and party planners so they can source items from suppliers that do not exhibit at any other trade shows in the UK.”
