Spring Fair 2019 gets off to strong start

The Party Show at this year’s Spring Fair has already got off to a strong start, with retailers, buyers and balloon artists making the most of the new products and fresh designs on display.

Hall 5 has been playing host to the UK’s biggest platform for costumes, Halloween items, Christmas favours, party tableware and decorations for the last two days, while The Stage has been home to the latest costume designs and balloon decor demonstrations.

Notable products which have been making waves within the party industry include Mask-arade’s L.O.L. Surprise character masks and Grabo’s 64″ half-helium, half-air foil numbers, which have been designed to reduce the amount of helium needed to float and so help keep costs down.

“We have had a super start to Spring Fair 2019,” said Joe Alsop, design and marketing manager at Mask-arade. “We are in a great position behind the Party Stage where there is a fantastic atmosphere and consistent footfall.”

He continued; “We have seen lots of existing loyal Mask-arade customers but also plenty of new faces. The highlight is that we are seeing lots of interest in our new L.O.L. Surprise character masks, with orders being written at the show. Our top three sellers for 2019 so far are Donald Trump, Freddie Mercury and Mr Bean.”

It has been a similarly positive story for Palmer Agencies as well, with marketing director Sergio Battaner saying; “We’re walking with a spring in our step after the first two days at Spring Fair. Thank you to our friend and customers for approving our new products and placing so many orders with us.”

The UK’s leading trade show for the retail industry, Spring Fair 2019 is open every day until Thursday 7 February.
