Spielwarenmesse 2018: Talking To Unique Party

Unique Party’s vp general manager for the UK, Jim Cairns speaks to PartyWorldwide.net about business at Spielwarenmesse and what’s in store for visitors to the Unique Party stand over the next few days.

“The show has been fantastic, as usual,” says Jim. “It’s a great venue for us. We get to meet all of our existing customers but we also get a lot of new business from the event, so yes, it’s very important for us.”

There’s plenty of new product on the Unique Party stand, with licensed lines proving to be a particular highlight. New partywares and pinata ranges from Hatchimals, Emoji and Warner Bros. are all attracting a lot of attention and are expected to be strong sellers throughout 2018.

“We’ve had lots of buyers in the last couple of days,” adds Jim, commenting on the Spielwarenmesse visitor profile so far. “That will change this weekend, when we’ll probably get lots of independents and distributors.”
