Smiffys joins Pinocchio and Friends line-up

Lisle Licensing has announced two new licensees for the brand ahead of the toy launch in spring 2023.

Pinocchio & Friends is the reimagined TV series by Iginio Straffi, ceo of Italian entertainment powerhouse, Rainbow. The series launched earlier this year on CBeebies and is poised to launch its master toy range from Flair in the spring.

Smiffys has signed up and will lead on the dress-up category, developing a range of costumes including key characters, Pinocchio and Freeda.

Fashion UK is also on board for all key apparel categories. Additionally, Kennedy Publishing are producing a bespoke Pinocchio and Friends magazine.

Francesca Lisle, md at Lisle Licensing, commented: “We are thrilled by the enthusiasm of the industry at this beautiful series which hit the ground running on CBeebies and has continued to grow in popularity. We look forward to making further announcements in the New Year.”
