Second Balloon Forest installation now less than a month away

The last few places for balloon professionals to be part of the team behind the second Balloon Forest installation are still available, with the day itself now less than a month away.

Taking place on Monday 6 August, the second Big Balloon Build will see the venue (Willow Suite at Greshams in Ipswich) being transformed into a star-lit forest, complete with pink castle. The one-day course is once again being run by Samuel Stamp-Dod CBA, founder of VIP Balloons, and is supported by both BAPIA and Balloon Market.

The day itself will involve lots of princess and unicorn-themed designs, together with classes on Quicklinks, large sculpture building and organic structures as well as some twisting, table decor and other smaller designs that can be recreated and sold.

“I can’t wait to create another big build,” said Samuel. “Last year’s project was such a great success we had hardly finished before I was being asked ‘when’s the next one?’!”

“The Big Balloon Build will be suitable for all abilities,” he continued, “from balloon beginners to those with lots of experience. We plan to run all the workshops in the same room, so delegates can move from one part to another as they feel, gaining as much experience from each of the tutors as possible.”

The event is a great opportunity to work with an award-winning team (Mike Hurst and Natalie Saunders are also on board) and add something truly impressive to your portfolio.

The course costs just £50, including refreshments, lunch and free parking. Visit the VIP Balloons website for more information.
