Rubie’s Updates Popular Disney Pet Partnership

The animal-focused branch of Rubie’s Masquerade – Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique – has renewed its US licence with Disney Consumer Products for officially licensed pet costumes inspired by classic Disney characters.

Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique is developing a number of new products for 2018, with plans for more new styles to launch in 2019 and beyond.

Mickey and Friends costumes and accessories include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy, while Disney Princess pet costumes and wigs include Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, and Snow White.

Winnie the Pooh costumes and accessories include Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore, while Pixar’s Toy Story pet costume and accessories include Woody and Buzz Lightyear.

Finally, a line of pet costumes from Disney Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas film will include Jack Skellington, Zero and Scary Teddy.

“We are absolutely thrilled to collaborate with Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media to create pet costumes of everyone’s favourite classic characters, and we are excited to bring them all to life,” said Erin Breig, director of Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique.

“In addition to Star Wars and Marvel brands, these classic Disney and Pixar properties are the perfect additions to round out Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique’s collection of fun products,” she adds.

The latest Disney and Pixar pet costume collection will be available in the US this summer.
