RLS Fancy Dress opens in Leeds

A new indie retailer has been opened in Leeds by former nursery nurse, Becky Sayers.

The Yorkshire Evening Post has reported that the new fancy dress retailer on Lowtown in Pudsey, has been a long term dream of Becky’s.

Owner Becky acquired the shop in May, and spent three months renovating the cellar and main shop floor, before opening in early October. The retailer had been operating online since last Christmas.

Becky said: “When I left (her job as a nursery nurse) at Christmas I didn’t think I would get my own shop, but just see how it goes. Then it got really busy and I just didn’t have the space to work from home any more.

“Aside from Halloween outfits, the 80s is by far the most popular request I get. Nearly every day, there is somebody coming in asking for something 80s related for a party or a festival.”
