Read the January/February issue of Progressive Party Europe online now

The latest issue of Progressive Party Europe is out now and available to read online, bringing you all of the latest news,PPE Jan Feb 22 (1) views and events in the party industry.

We’ve made it to 2022, and there is so much to look forward to for the coming year. Despite the disappointing cancellation of Spielwarenmesse, the party industry is ready to go full steam ahead this year, with exciting events and product launches planned.

We chatted to a number of suppliers for this issue, and despite some of 2021’s challenges still hanging over, they were overwhelmingly positive about the year ahead, with events such as the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and World Book Day set to boost the industry and get consumers celebrating again.

With most children having celebrated World Book Day at home in 2021, the charity is gearing up for a bigger event than ever this year, as it also celebrates its 25th anniversary. Dress-up suppliers are also readying a wide range of literary character costumes for the event in March and told us all about their plans and launches.

Also in the issue, our US columnist, Ed Avis, executive director of the National Costumers Association, looks at how bricks and mortar stores can stay relevant in a changing retail landscape. There’s also the usual news and products launches aplenty.
