Rasta Imposta costumes in Guinness World Record title

A crowd in St Louis recently broke the record for the most people wearing banana hats.

309 people joined together to don Rasta Imposta’s banana hat in The City Museum in St Louis to make history. At 5.30pm, the crowd put on the hats to break the Guinness World Record for the most people wearing the headgear.

An official adjudicator from Guinness confirmed the victory, which was supported by Explore St Louis, Slalom St Louis and Rasta Imposta.

The museum posted on social media saying: “We gathered a bunch of friends to set the a-peel-ing Guinness World Records title for most people wearing banana hats with 309 participants. We couldn’t have split this record without the help of Explore St Louis, Slalom St Louis, Rasta Imposta costumes and of course, YOU.”
