New UK partyware retailer Gather has opened in Bingley, West Yorkshire and will serve the local residents, acting as a one-stop shop for party supplies and decorations.
The store is based on a traditional concept and relies on face-to-face contact and ‘good old-fashioned shop service’ to sell its stylish partyware.
Run by by former teacher and wedding planner Liz Farley, the shop has become an essential place of inspiration for anyone organising an event.
“I often worked with brides who had ordered things on the internet and they weren’t quite right,” explained Liz. “I wanted to offer something where people could come into a shop and see things for themselves – and have a good old fashioned shop service.”
She added that customers can also pop in for advice and she will endeavour to source partyware along their theme or idea to provide the finishing touches to their event.
In addition to the wide variety of items for sale, ranging from party bags, candles and cake toppers to modern giant balloons, Gather also hosts various crafts workshops and is able to offer advice on recommended local suppliers too.
