Party names make the shortlist in trade awards

A number of leading party suppliers have been shortlisted as finalists for two of this year’s most prestigious industry awards, The Licensing Awards 2020 and the Progressive Preschool Awards 2020.

Both sets of awards have continued to recognise the leading supppliers and retailers in their respective industries by developing and implementing an in-depth online judging process. The finalists have now been announced in advance of the official ceremonies themselves, which will both be taking place digitally over the coming months – Progressive Preschool Awards on Tuesday 12 November and The Licensing Awards on Wednesday 16 December.

By making the decision to move the awards online, organiser Max Publishing has enabled both industries to continue celebrating the successes and triumphs of the past 12 months.

“This may not be a ‘normal’ year,” said Jakki Brown, joint md of Max Publishing, “but that just makes it all the more important to mark the positives, and being a finalist in either The Licensing Awards or the Progressive Preschool Awards is certainly a good reason to smile.”

The Dress-up or Partyware finalists in The Licensing Awards 2020 are:

• The Addams Family Dress-up from RH Smith & Son
• Disney Princesses Dress-up for George@Asda from Christys By Design
• Harry Potter Party Range for Primark from Amscan
