Face and body painting school Facade Academy will be holding a Nick Wolfe Masterclass later this year, focusing on scary faces and the ‘dark arts’.
Internationally renowned face painter and prosthetics artist Nick Wolfe (founder of Wolfe FX make-up) will be coming from the USA to join UK students at the Academy.
Recognised as one of the ‘best of the best’, Nick’s classes sell out wherever he teaches, from Australia to Austria, New Zealand to New York.
The UK classes will be held on Wednesday 10 October in Hemel Hempstead and Friday 12 October in Bristol – just in time for Halloween!
The masterclasses will cover ‘the techniques of brush and sponge, the theories of light, shadow and colour and the philosophy of design and balance’.
“I first met Nick over 15 years ago at one of the first UK conventions,” said Juliet Eve, owner of Facade Academy. “He had been working at Universal Studios and Disney creating designs and leading teams of artists.”
She continued; “He has won pretty much every award on offer and has written numerous books. I truly believe your face painting education is not complete without attending at least one of his classes!”
Arrangements are currently underway for workshops in face and body painting in Manchester and Scotland. Full details are available on the Facade Academy website.
