NABAS members ‘Clap for Carers’ with balloons

Members of the balloon association NABAS have come together as a community and used their friendly Facebook group as a voice to showcase some amazing balloon creations in honour of the NHS and key workers.

The NABAS Facebook group has been showcasing some incredibly creative designs showing support and appreciation for the NHS and keyworkers during the COVID-19 crisis. It has become an online community for sharing ideas and developing campaigns that spread positivity and unity among both the party industry and the public.

Creations – which often are themed around the ‘Clap for Carers’ celebration which takes place across the UK each week – include everything from rainbow balloons with clouds flying high on houses and front gardens, to heart banners made out of blue balloons. There has even been a group of blown-up balloon doctors and nurses, all dedicated to honouring and thanking the NHS and key workers.

NABAS members balloon creations are visually delightful, providing much needed light relief and extending their creativity to reinforce community spirit.

As part of its bid to extend support to and future-proof the industry, NABAS has also been holding weekly webinars for its members, helping them prepare their businesses for when lockdown is over and restrictions are lifted. Topics include social media workshops as well as information which can also be found on a dedicated coronavirus support hub on the NABAS website, which helps members find resources and solutions to business challenges.
