BMTV: Mark Drury reveals new Toy Story 4 design

The most recent episode of Balloon Market TV – the popular YouTube channel which is hosted by Balloon Market’s Greg Brown – saw Mark Drury talking viewers through a Disney Toy Story 4 design tutorial.

In the 20-minute episode, Mark explains why he was inspired by the Toy Story movie and how that influenced his design.

” I started off thinking about who it would appeal to,” he said, “and of course that’s quite a wide age range now because it’s more of an evergreen licence but I started off thinking about children’s parties.”

This got Mark thinking about what happens at kids’ parties – and as he points out, everybody always likes to take a balloon home.

“So I started to think about the amount people can spend on a children’s party and how we can fit decoration in as well as the balloon element… ”

From this starting point, Mark created a clever design which works as decor during the party and can be dismantled at the end so every child can go home with a gift.
