Leicester’s Paper Tiger to close

Popular Leicester fancy dress and party shop, Paper Tiger, has announced it will close after over 50 years in business.

The shop shared a note to customers in its window to announce the closure.

The note said: “Over 50 years ago, Paper Tiger has been trading and serving its customers but now we just have to close our doors. It has been with great joy and honour to have served you all these years, celebrating and creating memories through all your celebrations and milestones.

“Together we have created unforgettable experiences, sharing stories and letting us be part of your joyous moments. We have laughed, cried and celebrated.

“We remained strong and independent throughout, however the last few years has been a really tough time for us. We’ve worked incredible hard because this is our love and passion.

“Alas, we have to set down now. THANK YOU THANK YOU.”
