H&P Expo Expands Reach

The Halloween & Party Expo has announced expanded product categories for the 2018 show, focusing on working with companies specialising in make-up, props and decor.

The event, held from 12-15 January at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, will be playing host to new and expanded product categories while also introducing a number of exhibitors who are new to the show.

“Our goal is to continue to raise the bar with the selection of product and services and furthermore add the product categories our buyers have told us are most important for their business,” said Mike Carlucci, senior vice president of the Halloween & Party Expo.

“This year we’ve put a strong focus on working with companies in the top growing segments of make-up, props and décor to ensure their representation on the show floor. We hope these additions allow retailers to find new and unique products that will help set them apart from their competition.”

In the make-up sector, over 30 companies will be represented in 2018 including Mehron, Wolfe FX, Graftobian Make-up, Paint Glow, Kryolan, Cinema Secrets, Moon Glow and more. A brand new Artist Battleground competition will also see make-up brands being put to the test as models are transformed, based on a theme which will be revealed closer to the time. The competition will feature celebrity judges Kyle Vest of Blast Effects and Skin Wars fan favourite and Nick Wolfe of Evil Twin FX.

The show floor will also host a number of new props and décor companies as part of HAuNTcon, the Haunted Attraction Tradeshow & Convention. This new partnership means that retailers who traditionally attend the Halloween & Party Expo will now have access to both events, offering additional opportunities and new merchandising ideas.

Over 350 exhibitors will be showcasing hundreds of the newest products and trends for the industry. To view the complete exhibitor line-up and to register to attend, visit halloweenpartyexpo.com.
