H&P Expo Announces New Retailer Programme

An all-new retailer education programme has been announced by the Halloween & Party Expo for next year’s show.

Taking place from 12 – 15 January, 2018 at the Ernest Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, show organisers Urban Expositions will be partnering with Retail Minded for the third year running.

The new-look H&P Expo retail programme has been developed in response to buyer feedback, ensuring that attendees can take part for free as part of their show registration. Retail Minded – which offers cutting-edge education for independent retailers – will provide buyers and store owners with insights aimed to help strengthen their store operations and retail efforts.

Visitors can participate in retail panel discussions on the following issues:

  • Across the generations: understanding the woman shopper
  • Realistic omni-channel strategies for brick and mortar retailers: an industry expert panel
  • Brick and mortar in-store experiences: best practices to strengthen customer loyalty, salesand more
  • Tech, retail and why you shouldn’t be afraid: welcoming technology into your retail business

All retailers are also invited to participate in four new interactive roundtable discussions covering frequently-requested topics with input from key industry thought leaders.

  • Ask the experts: all things retail
  • Retail realities: five hot topics among merchants today
  • Maximizing vendor partnerships
  • Halloween & Party Expo: the present and the future

“Our goal is to support the industry and provide retailers with new tools and information so they are aligned for success in their stores and their markets,” said Mike Carlucci, senior vice president of Halloween & Party Expo. “We understand the time commitment of attending an event and want to be sure our visitors leave with the tools in hand to grow their business.”

This year’s Halloween & Party Expo will be co-located with HAuNTcon, the Haunted Attraction National Tradeshow and Conference and the HAuNTcon education programme will be announced in November.
