HAuNTcon Announces Headline Speakers

The haunt industry’s leading exhibition, which this year is co-located with H&P Expo 2018, has announced its headline list of more than 50 speakers.

Taking place from 12 – 15 January 2018 in New Orleans, the leading event ‘Designed by Haunters, For Haunters’ is a major opportunity for those in the trade to get a jump start on planning for the 2018 season.

Delegates attending the H&P Expo 2018 will be able to gain complementary access to the HAuNTcon show floor. Popular speakers returning to the show include Kyle Vest, Nick Wolfe, Jeff and Chris Davis of Davis Graveyards as well as representatives from Haunted Farms of America, HauntPay and HaunTopic.

Brand new presenters sharing their insight and knowledge for the first time include author and fear sociologist Margee Kerr and corporate director of entertainment and events at Six Flags Scott Stener.

“We are thrilled at the line-up we have in store and grateful to have presentations by some of the most passionate and successful minds in haunting,” says Liz Irving, vice president of marketing for HAuNTcon. “We’ve worked closely with the industry to ensure this year’s programme is shaped around new trends, technologies and techniques most relevant to haunters.”

On Monday 15 January, visitors will be able to enjoy advanced all-day workshops presented by HAuNTcon founder Leonard Pickel, Skin Wars fan favourite Kyle Vest of Blast Effects, and Nick Wolfe of Evil Twin FX.
