Emma Angel reveals the plans for Angels Open Days

Emma Angel, director of Angels Fancy Dress, reveals the plans in place for the Angels Open Days, three days of focusing on costume and fancy dress which are taking place in London at the end of the month (Sunday 31 March – Tuesday 2 April 2019).

Hi Emma, hope you are well. Can you tell us a little more about the Open Days?

“Angels Open Days are for both existing customers and new customers who are interested in seeing what we have to offer.  We are bringing together some great exhibitors under one roof to make it easy for customers to select their 2019 ranges. It’s a good opportunity to network and find out what’s trending in the world of fancy dress. We’ve had great shows for the past two years and hope that this year’s will be even more successful.”

Who will be exhibiting there this year? What you are most looking forward to?

“Palmer Agencies, Bristol Novelty, Fun Shack, Leg Avenue, Morph Costumes and OppoSuits will all be there. We will be showing our exclusive Rasta Imposta, InCharacter Costumes and Tinsley Transfers collections. I am looking forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones.  I can’t wait to see what new lines everyone is bringing!”

What will Angels Distribution be focusing on? Is there any product or range that particularly stands out for the coming year?

“We’ve got some great new products this year. Rasta Imposta has brought out a new range of 1990s-inspired lines such as a Floppy Disc and a Mix Tape.  InCharacter has some incredibly cute new baby lines for Halloween such as a Baby Dragon. Tinsley Transfers has introduced ‘Glam Gore’ range.”

Can you explain a little about what retailers will be able to see/do when they come along?

“They’ll be able to meet with existing suppliers and discover new ones.  It’s a great opportunity to see new lines and find out what this year’s must-haves are. We’re also offering tours of our film and television costume warehouse and there will be refreshments and a light lunch provided.”

And finally, what would you say to any retailers who are still in two minds about whether or not to come along?

“We have six fantastic exhibitors coming from the UK and abroad so this is a great chance to meet them. Some didn’t attend Spring Fair so now is your chance to see them in our London head office. The event is free to attend and we’ll look after you well, making sure you have a great day. Our exhibitors are preparing some great show offers so make sure you are on our guest list. We look forward to seeing you all soon!”
