Commercial director Greg de Jong announces departure from Folat

After ten years working for Folat, commercial director, Greg de Jong, has announced he will be leaving the company at the end of the year.

Greg is currently talking to various parties about his next venture, while Folat is recruiting to fill his role at the company.

Greg commented: “It was a wonderful ten years. A wonderful decade that I look back on with love and pleasure forever. Now, after ten years, it feels like the time to focus on new challenges.

“When I started, Folat was an ambitious but modest wholesaler, who wanted to become a serious player. And we succeeded. We are now the largest supplier of party items in Europe and supply food retail, discounters, online platforms and physical stores. We have aligned our company’s strategy with these channels, and with success. I’m really proud of that.

“Of course, it is never finished and that is why Folat rages on, because the coming years will also be dominated by growth and further development. Folat is currently looking for my successor. I will be working as commercial director until the end of this year. I also hope to be able to make a smooth transfer to my successor.

“Thank you, all colleagues, customers, and relations for the trust, the fun, and the good business, over the past ten wonderful years.”

Partyworldwide.net wishes Greg the best of luck in his next role.
