Christmasworld Trends To Hit The Market

The world’s leading trade fair for festive and seasonal decoration is looking forward to seeing Christmas product sourced at the 2018 show hit the market over the coming weeks.

The 2018 event was attended by 1,048 exhibitors from 43 countries and over 43,400 visitors from 129 countries – highlighting the global nature of the Christmas and seasonal decorations market.

The product will reflect the key themes identified at the show for this year’s Yuletide season. “Christmas 2018, it will be about one thing above all: individuality,” said a spokesperson for the show. “Trends include everything from the highly traditional to the understated, although there is a place for the wild and extravagant as well!”

Next year’s show, which will be taking place from 25 – 29 January 2019, will also see a number of product groups being restructured as the show moves  forward to embrace new opportunities.

“Christmasworld is the world’s most important ordering fair for seasonal and festive decorations,” said Julia Uherek, Messe Frankfurt’s group show director for consumer goods fairs. “To ensure that this remains so in the future, we are creating a new and exciting mix of products from over 1,000 exhibitors.”

A new hall layout and experiential concepts will also provide maximum inspiration for buyers across a diverse range of target markets.

Each hall will be redeveloped and based around a ‘centrepiece’, such as a special exhibition area, a complementary programme of events or a networking hotspot.

The ‘Christmas and Seasonal Decoration’ sector of the show will move into newly created Hall 12. This includes spring, Easter, autumn and  Halloween decorations. More information can be found at www.christmasworld.messefrankfurt.com
