Bristol fancy dress shop launches Box of Fun

Independent Bristol-based fancy dress, balloon and party shop, Fun Warehouse, has launched new range ‘Box of Fun’ in order to help customers as they look for ways to help combat the coronavirus doom and gloom.

The Box of Fun has been designed to help everyone have fun and feel more connected with family, friends and colleagues during the UK’s lockdown by delivering a box of silly fancy dress accessories to their door. Suitable for both children and adults, each Box of Fun offers great value, bundling together fancy dress accessories and party supplies at a huge discount.

The boxes are themed and come in two sizes – Big Fun and Mega Fun – both ideal for bouncing along with Joe Wicks, filming a Tik Tok, livening up Zoom calls, dressing-up for virtual dinner parties or adding some sparkle to House Party events.

The launch range – which offers boxes priced from £2.99 to £29.99 – includes:

The Lockdown: Dedicated to the frontline workers.
The Rainbow: Inspiring, hopeful and very silly!
The Home Disco: Everything you need for a dance party at home.
The Birthday: All you need to create a fun birthday celebration while in isolation.
The Out of Mischief: Packed with things to keep children occupied and up to no good.
Just Moustaches: A little bit of fun, perfect for work teams or sending to all the family.

“Like many small businesses, fancy dress and party shops have been badly affected by the coronavirus pandemic,” said Sally Quigg, owner of Fun Warehouse. “Not only is our bricks and mortar shop closed for the foreseeable future, but there are likely to be longer term Government restrictions on the events and gatherings that drive our business.”

She continued: “We’ve put fun at the heart of what we do for the last six years and I realised that sitting around in lockdown, worrying about finances, family and the future was making me feel a bit depressed. Inspired by the creative ways people have found to enjoy themselves, I came up with Box of Fun as a simple way to help people inject some ‘fun’ into lockdown and help them deepen connections with friends, colleagues and loved ones through having fun.”
