BMTV prepares for Valentine’s Day

A recent episode of Balloon Market TV – the popular YouTube channel which is hosted by Balloon Market’s Greg Brown – saw Greg being joined by Rob Driscoll, the Bowtie Balloon Guy, as he demonstrates how to make a lovely Valentine’s Day giraffe, perfect for the romantic gifting market.

In this 30-minute episode, Rob talks Greg through the stages and techniques needed to make what he calls ‘the world’s most romantic animal’; a giraffe holding a heart.

“I’m going to be showcasing a new technique called a raisin twist,” revealed Rob. “It’s a technique that had been around for donkey’s years… it’s got a whole load of different uses and I use it quite a lot!”

The balloon sculptures themselves can be made well in advance of Valentine’s Day itself, making them perfect for advance orders and deliveries.

Find out more about the raisin twist and see the rest of the episode in full below.
