BAPIA’s July/August 2018 decor winners announced

The winners of the latest BAPIA balloon decor competition have been announced, with winner Emma Knott and runners up Sam Chapman and Pat Horwill all taking home some fantastic prizes.

This has been the second monthly initiative for BAPIA members, with a theme of ‘Balloon Arch’, asking entrants to submit their favourite arch. The eventual winnners were decided by the number of ‘likes’ each picture had at the end of the month.

The winning photographs will also be used as the header image on the BAPIA Facebook group throughout September.

The winners of the July/August 2018 photo competition are:

“Firstly, we would like to thank everybody who entered, the photographs were fantastic and it’s great to see everybody’s work,” said BAPIA chief executive John Bowler. “We also want to thank our prize sponsors for providing the prizes.”

“We have just launched the next competition which will run throughout September,” he added. “The category this month will be ‘Centrepieces’, so pick out your favourite centrepiece photo and add it to the album. We look forward to seeing the entries.”

The prize allocation for the September photo competition is being changed in order to ensure that everybody has a chance of winning. Prizes will now be awarded as follows:

  • Prize 1: Goes to the photograph that receives the most ‘Likes’
  • Prize 2: Goes to the photograph that is voted for by an independent judge.
  • Prize 3: Goes to a random photograph drawn from all of the entries this month.

The prizes up for grabs are £30 off of an order with Kent Balloons, £30 off of an order with Hi-Flyers and a balloon bundle (minimum value £50) from BAPIA.

To submit your own entry or vote on those who have already got involved, simply visit the BAPIA facebook page and select the ‘Photo competition September 2018’ album.
