Balloons And Tunes Offers Level 1 Training Days

Balloons and Tunes is offering a number of opportunities to join its Level 1 Introduction to Balloon Decor training days at a discounted rate. The Tamworth-based business – run by balloon industry stalwarts Pam and Paul Pearce – has provided balloon decorations and top-level training in the Midlands and beyond for many years.

There are two dates available; Monday 4th June 2018, from 10.30am – 4.30pm and  Sunday 17th June 2018, from 10.30am – 4.30pm. Both courses will be run by Paul and Pam Pearce CBA and will be held at the Balloons and Tunes premises in Tamworth (B78 1AS).

A detailed and hands-on course ideal for beginners, delegates will be given a course notebook with complete recipes as well as an official certificate from Balloons and Tunes on completion of the training. Each course costs £180, with a 10% discount taking the total to £162. Additional discounts will be made available for all if more people book onto the course.

Level 1 Introduction to Balloon Decor

Delegates will learn how to use a variety of equipment available, from hand pumps and inflators to Conwin machines. They will be working with latex balloons, Qualatex plastic bubbles and assorted foil balloons. They will be learning skills for balloon inflation and displays using both air and helium/balloon gas. There will be plenty of of hands-on action with balloon designs, including discussion on balloon releases, creating latex bouquets, balloon archways, latex balloon in a balloon and adding confetti etc. The course also covers adding Hi Float, Qualatex Deco Bubbles and stuffing them with confetti, mini balloons, feathers etc as well as personalising them. The 36″ latex air-filled balloon columns and mini column table decorations and characters are also covered.

The Level 1 course covers business basics such as health and safety, insurance, risk assessments, where and what to buy, costings and making a profit (job cost sheet and other ways of calculating sales price ideas), decorators kits ideas and marketing ideas.
