Balloon Kings launches national franchise programme

New York-based balloon decor and display company Balloon Kings has announced that it will be launching a franchise programme, with the aim of rolling out the Balloon King business to ten locations nationwide by 2020.

The full-service retailer, which specialises in balloon arrangements and décor for events and special occasions, is New York’s leading balloon supply company offering custom and off-the-shelf balloon bouquets, arrangements and structures.

Owner and balloon expert Gene Nifenecker announced his plans to expand the universal appeal of balloon art through franchising earlier this week, explaining that; “The Balloon Kings name is plural for a reason”.

He continued; “The company is made up of an amazing team of talented individuals, some of whom have been with me for years. We have fun every day, and that joie de vivre is reflected in all we do.”

Balloon Kings uses product from Qualatex, Anagram and Betallic to create custom arrangements for use at trade shows and corporate events, as well as for celebrities such as Cardi B, Kim Kardashian, Dave Chappelle, and Paris Hilton.

“At Balloon Kings, we believe that a party without balloons is just a meeting,” said brand development manager Ana Carter. “We are always looking to take balloon decoration to another level to make any event truly special.”

Balloon Kings has teamed up with franchise industry expert, Gary Occhiogrosso to expand the Balloon Kings business model. Franchise locations are currently available in NY, CT, PA, NJ and along the eastern seaboard.

“Any business that brings a smile in today’s stressful times is welcome,” says Occhiogrosso.  “A balloon business is easy and fun to operate, needs little capital to start, and typically returns high margins. As a franchise, it allows entrepreneurs with a sense of fun to build a successful enterprise, and one with the ability to expand into other areas of eventing and entertainment.”
