Angels Open Day 2018: Bristol Novelty

Taking place from 25 – 27 March, Angels Open Day is returning for its second year in 2018. The open days will once again be held at Angels’ iconic Hendon premises as the family devoted to fancy dress continues to meet the needs of an ever-developing industry.

Returning to the show for the second year is Bristol Novelty, so business development manager Gary Vincent told us what the costume and accessory company is hoping to achieve at the three-day show.

“The Angels Open day is unique due to its prestigious location,” begins Gary. “It certainly gives a further opportunity for customers who couldn’t attend either Nuremberg or Spring Fair to pop in, say hello and have a look at new products for 2018.”

As far as the benefits of coming to the Angels Opens Days, Gary points out that, “it’s a much more personalised and relaxing affair, allowing both exhibitors and customers to have a good chat up without the time pressures of the bigger events.”

Of course, as an exhibitor, there’s plenty of benefits for Bristol Novelty as well. What is Gary hoping to achieve at this year’s Open Days? “We’re looking to see more of our customers attending from the south east and London this year,” he says. “We can happily take orders on the day for new products or perhaps give our customers a few ideas for existing lines they may have missed from the 2017 range.”

And will there be much new product on show for the key 2018 seasons? “Oh yes! We will have a good range of the new and existing products we showcased at Spring Fair this year. There will be plenty of new costumes and accessories for this year’s Halloween season and other new exciting products lines which have been trending from last year, like the ever-popular Unicorn.”

Appealing directly to retailers who may be undecided about attending the event, Gary says; “If you’re based in and around the London area and haven’t attended any trade shows this year then please come along and support us! It’s a great day out, at a fantastic venue and is a very friendly and relaxed show with lots to see. The Angels costumiers’ tour alone is something else! You won’t be disappointed.”
