Angels Open Day 2018: Angels Fancy Dress

Taking place from 25 – 27 March, Angels Open Day is returning for its second year in 2018. The open days will once again be held at Angels’ iconic Hendon premises as the family devoted to fancy dress continues to meet the needs of an ever-developing industry.

Angels Fancy Dress will be showcasing the latest lines from Rasta Imposta, InCharacter and Tinsley Transfers at the show, so managing director Emma Angel told PWW what she is hoping to achieve at the three-day show.

“If you’re looking for fancy dress, the open day will be far more convenient than other trade shows,” said Emma. “As it’s a whole event focusing solely on fancy dress, special FX and make up, it means customers only need to view products specific to their needs. There’s no wandering around huge exhibition spaces trying to find who is relevant to you, everyone is in one space. It’s also a more intimate event, so more time can be spent with each exhibitor.”

Emma is looking forward to seeing clients, meeting new, potential customers and connecting with the other exhibitors over the course of the three-day show. “It’ll also be a great chance to show the new additions to our brands for this year, and of course, we’re aiming to place a few orders over the weekend!”

From a product perspective, Angels will be showcasing classic fancy dress lines from InCharacter and Rasta Imposta and special FX ranges from Tinsley Transfers, as well as a few new, exciting additions for 2018.

The costume experts are once again offering a tour of the Angels Costumiers warehouse to all visitors, which was a big hit last year. It’s a unique chance to view over a million items of clothing, and over eight miles of hanging costumes in the largest costume house in the world.

“It’s a great event,” said Emma. “A chance to see new lines and classic ranges from an excellent range of exhibitors, to meet with others in the industry and to exchange insights and tips. We look forward to seeing you all there!”
