Amscan postpones training classes

Balloon and party supplier Amscan has taken the decision to postpone some of its upcoming UK balloon and decor training classes in light of the current coronavirus situation.

The classes being postponed were originally scheduled for 19 March (Balloon Market), 25 March (Balancebest) and 1 April (Paul White). They will be rescheduled in the future.

“Due to challenges in the current climate and updates from our government occurring on a daily basis, Amscan has taken the decision, at present, to postpone all scheduled training courses between now and mid-April,” said Chris Horne, Amscan’s head of training and education.

He continued: “We have taken the precautionary measure to avoid any attendees suffering any unnecessary financial loss and have tried to provide as much notice as possible. We will update in due course any further changes and developments regarding this matter.”
