Alton Towers Holds Week-Long Fancy Dress Party

One of the UK’s most popular theme parks, Alton Towers, is set to become a pirates and princesses fancy dress party for a week during February half-term.

Parents and children are being encouraged to dress up as pirates and princesses if they visit Alton Towers during the half-term period, from Saturday 10 February to Sunday 25 February.

The popular Staffordshire-based resort will be transformed into a fully themed pirate and princess party as it plays host to a fun-packed week of action.

Live entertainment will include three half-hour fun-filled pirate adventures as well as a number of princess-themed activities, in addition to all the park’s usual attractions.

Alton Towers is visited by approximately 2million visitors each year, with around 20,000 visitors each day during peak season, such as school holidays.
